What's covered
The tap, boiler and chiller all come with a 2-year replacement / parts & labour warranty for residential use. Commercial warranty is 12 months parts & labour.
The warranty starts on the date of original purchase from an authorised Peppy Taps retailer. Installation will be deemed no later than 3 months after the date of purchase.
What's not covered
Warranties shall not apply where the consumer is not able to provide proof of purchase or equivalent documentation confirming that the product was purchased from an authorised Peppy Taps retailer, and that the product was installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
The warranty also does not cover:
- Tank water installations — warranty applies only to mains-water connected taps
- Damage caused by failure to replace the filter cartridge every 12 months
- The service life of the water filtration cartridge itself, which may vary according to water quality and rate of consumption
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or unauthorised modification
- Normal wear and tear, including finish wear from improper cleaning products
Maintaining your warranty
To keep your Peppy Taps warranty valid, you must:
- Have the system installed by a licensed plumber following the manufacturer's installation instructions
- Replace the filter cartridge every 12 months
- Retain your proof of purchase from an authorised Peppy Taps retailer
- Use the system only on a mains-water connection (not tank water)

What to include in your claim
- Customer name and address of the unit
- A description of the issue
- Contact details, including phone number
- Date of purchase
- Date of installation, with confirmation that a licensed plumber installed the unit
- Manufacture date of the boiler unit and/or chiller unit (the date of manufacture is on the data plate on the unit)
Filter cartridges
Unless otherwise required by the application of Australian Consumer Law, no warranty applies to the life of the Peppy Taps water filtration cartridge installed with any of our units, as the filter cartridge service life may vary according to water quality and the rate of water consumption.
We recommend replacing the cartridge every 12 months, or sooner if you notice reduced flow or a change in water taste.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, warranty or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
